Tim resides in Bath, NC with his wife of 42 years, Cathy and are proud parents of three children and four grandchildren. Tim retired in 2014 after a 30-year career in law enforcement. His last position prior to retirement was Assistant Director of Law Enforcement with the License and Theft Bureau of the North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles. Upon retirement, Tim and Cathy moved to Beaufort County to be closer to their children.
In 2015, Tim decided to return to public service and accepted a position as a Deputy Sheriff with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office. He served as a Deputy and later as Major until promoted to his current position as Chief Deputy.
