Brittany Joseph, MPH, CHES is an alumnus of East Carolina University where she obtained both her B.S. in Public Health and Master of Public Health (MPH). In October 2019, Brittany received a certification through the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing as a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES). Brittany started her public health career working as the Special Projects Coordinator for the Pitt County Coalition on Substance Use (PCCSU). In 2017, Brittany started at Beaufort County Health Department (BCHD) as the Public Health Educator II over the Integrated Targeted Testing Services (ITTS) which provides targeted testing for HIV, Syphilis, and Hepatitis C. Brittany moved into her current role at BCHD as the Human Services Planner IV/Preparedness Coordinator in February 2023.
