As we go through the community assessment process, we look to the powerful relationship between the community and United Way to gain a greater understanding of our local issues by learning from the people in our community whose lives we hope to impact.

Through multiple countywide Community Conversations and the online survey results, a game plan will be developed that will require a new way to invest our resources, focus our funding, and build collective impact. This will be a new direction for United Way, our community, and our partners.

CONNECT COMMUNITY Resource Network Exchange

To better understand what resources, programs and services are available, the mission and leaders of local organizations, and current collaborations in place, United Way launched a quarterly networking opportunity in October to give all nonprofits the opportunity to share information about their organization and challenges they face. This networking exchange helps build connections within the nonprofit community and identify opportunities for collaboration.
